I’m a content designer, manager, and leader.
I simplify complex content, design useful products, and build strong teams.
Growing my people
Right now, I lead content design at Vimeo.
I’m focused on hiring smart people, unlocking their talents, and establishing systems to support them.
To me, good leadership starts with empathy and authenticity. I bring my whole self to work so my teams feel safe to do the same.
I’ve built and managed content design teams for 8 years, and I’ve worked in content and UX for more than 12. Before Vimeo, I built the UX content strategy practice at U.Group. My alums went on to run their own content teams, and folks kept telling me:
“You’re the best boss I’ve ever had.”
“I watched Marc develop, scale and grow the content team, mentoring and coaching members to help them thrive.”
Garrett Hoppin, Associate Manager at Accenture
Creating human-centered content
I pair plain-language storytelling with user research, information architecture, and systems thinking to transform products.
I’ve designed content for Fortune 500 companies, big federal agencies, and international nonprofits. Yet as one client said, my “everyman approach” is “easy to understand and get excited about.”
Getting things done
I’m also an accomplished project manager. At U.Group, I managed the research and design phase for a $1.2 million digital experience transformation.
Before that, I helped modernize public engagement platforms worth $37 million at the State Department.
